About Paloma Lopez
A warm, experienced teacher who blends cultural immersion with practical, real-world language learning.
Paloma Lopez, M.A. in Romance Languages, is a passionate instructor who brings lived experience and cultural immersion to every lesson. Her teaching journey began in France, where she helped two young French siblings learn Spanish for a family trip to Barcelona — a moment that showed her how quickly confidence and curiosity grow when lessons are concrete, supportive, and tied to real goals.
Paloma deepened her linguistic and cultural expertise through intensive training at CIDEF, Université Catholique de l’Ouest, and a study program at the Institut Catholique de l’Ouest in Paris, focused on French language and culture. These experiences sharpened her intercultural communication skills and refined her natural, relevant approach to teaching languages.
Paloma meets each learner where they are, tailoring lessons to personal goals — travel, conversation, exam preparation, or professional use — and creating a motivating, encouraging environment that makes progress feel attainable.
